How to Prepare Raw Herbs

Regular Dose (If you’re not sure which instructions to follow, use this one.)

  1. Soak them in about 6 cups of water for 1 hour.
  2. Boil for 20 minutes.
  3. Strain. This should be about two doses. A dose is 1-2 cups of liquid. Repeat once per portion, yielding 4 doses.
  4. Take two doses per day between meals.

Note: Depending on the amount of herbs in your formula, you may want to use a little more or a little less water. Aim to have about two cups of liquid after each boiling. If you have a lot of remaining liquid, you can save it for later.

 

Full Dose (Use these if recommended.)
